What happens with no signal?

Everything works. Reports, tolerance math, signatures, and photos are stored on the device, and SFMobile syncs automatically the next time it finds a connection.

Does it calculate tolerances or just record readings?

It calculates. NIST Handbook 44 acceptance and maintenance tolerances for Class I through IIIL are computed from the equipment's class and division size, with pass or fail shown as each reading is entered.

How do techs get new forms?

Automatically. Forms are defined server side in the form builder, so every device receives the latest version on its next sync — no app update required.
